Biography
Shabnam is a PhD Researcher in Flow Assurance and Scale Team (FAST) at the Institute of GeoEnergy Engineering at Heriot Watt University. She commenced her postgraduate studies in January 2023. Her current research focuses on developing a methodology to study silica scale and its management in high and low temperature geothermal heat recovery systems. Shabnam earned her BSc in Chemical Engineering from Tabriz University and then her MSc from Tarbiat Modares University. She has a demonstrated history of working for more than 8 years in the oil & energy industry with skills in process engineering, petrochemical and refinery plants.
