We are very pleased to announce that Mahdi Kalantari Meybodi will defend his PhD dissertation on 25 November 2025.

Mahdi is PhD student in the Flow Assurance and Scale Team (FAST) at the Institute of GeoEnergy Engineering, Heriot-Watt University. working on “Coupled Adsorption and Precipitation Modelling of Scale Inhibitor Squeeze Treatments.” Mahdi’s strong background in reservoir simulation and software development enriches his current work on multiphase flow and reactive transport. His PhD is funded by the James Watt Scholarship and supervised by Dr Oscar Vazquez, Prof. Ken Sorbie, and Prof. Eric Mackay.
