Biography
Saba is a PhD candidate at Heriot-Watt University, specializing in Low Carbon EOR and Energy Transition. She earned her BSc and MSc in Reservoir Engineering from Petroleum University of Technology and Shiraz University. During her MSc, Saba focused on modeling asphaltene phase behavior using PC-SAFT EoS. Following that, she joined National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC), where she worked on a water injection pilot and managed oil production from three Iranian reservoirs. With expertise in numerical modeling, simulation techniques, and reservoir engineering principles, her current research explores the physics of 3-phase displacements in porous media of arbitrary wettability at the pore scale.
