Short Course by Dr. Gang Wang:

  • Dr. Gang Wang will be instructing Short Course 2: “Reservoir Engineering for Hydrogen Storage in Subsurface Porous Media” on Sunday, June 1, 2025. This one-day course aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with large-scale hydrogen adoption, focusing on hydrogen storage in subsurface porous media. The course will cover the hydrogen value chain, including production, transportation, and storage, and will address the policy and economic factors influencing the hydrogen economy. Participants will explore key physical processes in subsurface environments and their implications for underground hydrogen storage, with real-world case studies to facilitate assessment and development of storage solutions from a reservoir engineering perspective. More details can be found here: Short Course 2 Details.

We look forward to engaging discussions and new collaborations at EAGE 2025! See you in Toulouse!
